Saturday football
There's an early kick off in the Championship that should be a cracker: Brighton vs Middlesboro, 1st vs 2nd.

CHELSEA vs SUNDERLAND
Well now, everyone will be watching to see what happens here. I fancy BFS to put the bus into top gear and grind out a score draw.

EVERTON vs LEICESTER
Another really intriguing fixture. Leicester's bubble has to burst one day, doesn't it? But not today. Score draw.

MAN U vs NORWICH
You have to fancy Man U to get all three points here today, but it may be a long afternoon for everyone inside Old Trafford.

SOUTHAMPTON vs SPURS
Game of the day in the PL for me. Spurs will look to bounce back from defeat to the most northern team in the division, while the southernmost team will also fancy their chances on home soil. Score draw.

STOKE vs CRYSTAL PALACE
Last season, you'd have expected a boring, drab game. This year, though, it has the potential to be one of the PL's most entertaining games of the day. Two attacking and effective teams. Expect goals and another score draw.

WEST BROM vs BOURNEMOUTH
The Cherries will struggle to sustain their professionalism against a decidedly non-glamour team. They'll find it hard work and I expect the Baggies to take the points, just.

NEWCASTLE vs ASTON VILLA
It would be a brave man who predicts an away win. But unless Villa can start to produce brave performances, they have no chance of avoiding relegation. Newcastle's fine recent form will continue, and Villa fans have only five long and gruelling months to look forward to.

Re: Saturday football
They got some decent players there PD, in the fickle old world of football, a bloke like Jose who seems like he lost the dressing room and so his job at Chelsea could maybe do the reverse at OT, were funnily enough a not dissimilar set of circumstances are playing out for LVG?

Jose was badly exposed this season, maybe a fraud in some respects but you cant argue with what he has Won even though hes had a wadd of cash to buy that success, it will take a big ego to put the ManU ship back on course and they dont get much bigger than Jose, with maybe a little help from his red nosed admirer?.

Just my 2 pence worth mind from a neutral fickle bloke who enjoys football, personally i would like both clubs to implode.........

Sydney - Why would it make you sad that Mourinho could do a good job at Man U?

I think Coffers is providing a valuable service to anyone wishing to have a punt on the results of these games.
Once you've found out his tip for each game, you can at least eliminate one particular result from the equation.

The walrus will be studying his book of '100 post-match excuses to fool gullible fans' this week. He will need them at the Etihad on Boxing Day.

Jose to man u would piss off the caviar botherers no end, and if he crashed and burned there, it would be even better; they wouldn't know whether to shit or piss.

Let the Special one to ManU rumours commence.

LVG looks gone to me, been totally exposed as a fraud, sadly i think Mourinho could well do a job there, so i hope it doesnt happen only plus is seeing all those Chelsea fans crying about getting rid of him if it does.

Villa as shit as they have been will not be an easy game. Massive potential banana skin, they're going to win at home some time, please let us not be the team they beat.

Newcastle 1 Aston Villa 1 FT
Better from Villa in the second half
Good result .... Newcastle will feel like they should be winning games like this & single points aren't enough for Villa.
Villa have us , Norwich & Sunderland next. If they don't win a couple of those they can probably look forward to playing Birmingham next season.
